Małgorzata Sady
From the late 70s works as a curator and translator participant and creator of artistic projects with centers of art, theater and film festivals in Poland and abroad (Canada, Ireland, Portugal, Ukraine, Sweden, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Russia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Germany). Since 90s. She promotes the work of Franciszka and Stefan Themersons in collaboration with The Themerson Archive in London (publications, exhibitions, lectures) Since 2002, leading an independent publishing house Gaberbocchus in Poland. It is associated with the “Animator” festival in Poznan. She worked with the Quay Brothers on the film “Inventorium Śladów” (2009) as an assistant director and author of musical improvisation. She is author of the text book “Inventorium Śladów’, visually drawn up by the Quay Brothers. In 2010, along with Martin Gizycki completed the documentary ”Alfred Schreyer z Drohobycza’ In 2011 created a soundscape for the exhibition of Koji Kamoji “Mnich” (Appendix2 Gallery, Warsaw). In 2012, working with this artist took the form of installations and exhibitions (Entropia Gallery in Wroclaw and “Ogród Sztuki” gallery in Podkowa Forest. 2013 – joint implementation of the Holy Sepulchre in the „Wizytek” Church in Warsaw. Since 2008, the curator of the International Film Festival of Puppet Theatre and Animated Film for Adults “Lalka też człowiek” in Warsaw. Since 2010 she prepares for the festival program of animation for „ANIMO” festival in Kwidzyń. She also works with the Insitu Foundation (Warsaw-Sokolowsko). In August 2012 curated (with Ewa Zarzycka) the II International Festival of ephemeral art „Contexts”, and in 2013 will be curator of the 3rd edition of the festival. 2013 – expert in PISFI-e (animation), preparing the Themersons exhibition in Israel and an exhibition of contemporary Polish art in Kyoto (Japan). Scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and DN. She is currently working on the script for a documentary film about Themersons Archive in London. She is the author of numerous translations in the field of literature, philosophy and the history of contemporary art (Wittgenstein, Russell, Themerson, Czechowicz and others). She writes and speaks about the film and the arts. Working on films as documentaries and animated films. She is the author of photography exhibitions.
