Konrad Juściński - Sokołowsko
Konrad Juściński – Sokołowsko

In my work I refer to such concepts as a safe space and utopia. The term “safe space” comes from my own artistic practice and I define it in spatial objects and performative actions. I define this “safe space” as a specific balance between what is good and bad. The project goal that I would like to accomplish is to study space with spatial forms and using the presence of the body of the performer. I’m interested in the question of change “of physical state”, and it is on this issue I would like to reflect further during my activities Sokołowsko.

Konrad Juściński– born in 1977 in Gorzow Wielkopolski. In 2014 he obtained a doctorate at the Faculty of Sculpture and Spatial Operations at the University of Arts in Poznan. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Design UAP. Deals mainly with activities in space: objects, installations and performances. In 2002-2005 he was an assistant in professor Jan Berdyszak’s studio of Sculpture and Spatial Action. Konrad was two-time Scholar of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2009 and 2014. Currently he lives and works in Poznan.
