Igor Stahniv
Performance artist, actor, director of Alter Theatre. Graduated from the Lvov Polytechnic (Lvov, Ukraine). Co-founder and curator of DroArtDay art platform in Drohobych. Participated in theatre workshops, working among others with Krzysztof Miklaszewski, Jan Peszek, Oleg Lipcyn (San Francisco). Residency supervised by Wojciech Krukowski. Gaude Polonia scholarship in 2016. Stahniv collaborated with Akademia Ruchu, Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw and participated in trans-border projects.

Many people have left Ukraine to work abroad over last few years. Their number keeps growing. This performance relates to the experience of people who leave their own country to earn their living. It is about their motivations and expectations. These days people do not leave their country to mover abroad, but just to earn money. This performance is meditation on these issues.
