Ewa Zarzycka graduated from the State School of Fine Arts in Wrocław in 1973–1978. In the 1980s she took part in Nieme Kino festival [Silent Movie] in Łódź and Biennale Nowej Sztuki [New Art Biennial] in Zielona Góra. In 1989 her works were featured in the exhibition Lochy Manhattanu [The Dungeons of Manhattan] in Łódź, and in 1996 – Kobieta o kobiecie [A woman about a Woman] at the BWA Gallery in Bielsko-Biała. Her individual exhibitions were presented at the Labirynt Gallery in Lublin, the Baltic Gallery of Art in Ustka, the BWA Gallery in Zielona Góra and lokal_30 in Warsaw. Zarzycka has participated in major performance art events, including Europejski Festiwal Sztuki Performance [European Performance Art Festival] at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Międzynarodowy Festiwal Sztuki Akcji [International Action Art Festival] in
Piotrków Trybunalski, Festiwal Sztuki Efemerycznej “Konteksty” [International Festival of Ephemeral Art] in Sokołowsko, Performance Platform in Lublin. Zarzycka’s works can be found in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw, Exchange Gallery, Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź, My Archive Foundation of Andrzej Ciesielski and Zachęta in Lublin. She runs performance course at Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. A member of the Lublin Zachęta Fine Arts Association, Bruno Schulz Festival Association. Granted a scholarship by Ministry of Culture and National Heritage
