A visual artist. Anna Brudzińska was born in Gliwice, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Poland and graduated in 1999. She got her Master’s Degree (MA) in sculpture (under the supervision of Professor Alojzy Gryt). Her main disciplines are painting and sculpture painting installations. Anna definies herself as an artist of space. She is fascinated with the sky and the blue colour – in her works she explores the possibilities of this colour and examines the conceptual and linguistic boundaries of these concepts.

Since 1994 has had 13 individual exhibitions and participated in 71 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. She has taken part in many festivals, international symposia, workshop and plain-air sessions. In 2003 she was the winner of two prizes at 5th National Exhibition of Young Painters of Geppert and 6th Geppert Competition in Wrocław. Her paintings can be found in museums and private collections in Poland, Germany, Italy and The Czech Republic. She has created an artistic idea: My Own Piece of the Sky.

She is a curator of exhibitions of other artists: in 2000-2004 at The Center of Art and Culture (OKiS) in Wrocław in Poland and since 2007 in Pionova Gallery in Gdańsk, Poland.
