Agnieszka Rayzacher is an art critic and exhibition curator. Since 2006 she has been managing lokal_30 gallery in Warsaw and Local Sztuki, a foundation that primarily focuses on promoting art as well as exploring and presenting works of Polish female artists. She is the co-founder of a discussion group called Seminarium Feministyczne (Feminist Seminar) devoted to art and feminism. She curated and co-curated many exhibitions in Poland and abroad in various institutions: We Would Like You To Know That We Are Not Them, Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh (2009), Warsaw Calling / MAK NITE, MAK, Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art, Vienna (2009), I HAVE A DREAM, Muzeum Współczesne Wrocław and Center for Contemporary Art / National Museum of Thessaloniki (2012 and 2013), Escape from the “Liberty” Cinema, Galerie im Saalbau, Berlin (2016/17), Ewa Zarzycka: Nie jestem Zofią Rydet Galeria Studio, Warsaw (2018). She was the editor and co-editor of books and she also wrote texts about female artists such as: Natalia LL “Doing Gender” (2014); Ewa Juszkiewicz “Upadek kusi” (A fall is alluring) (2015); Ewa Zarzycka “Lata świetności” (The years of greatness) (2016); Zuzanna Janin “Biała kruk” (White crow) (2016); “Karolina Breguła. Ja po rzeźbach nie płaczę” (Karolina Breguła. I don’t cry for scultpures) (2017); “Maria Anto” (2018).
