Robert Alda

Robert Alda (alias Robert Sot) was born in 1959 in Warsaw, Poland. He studied painting at the Art Academy in Warsaw, where he had first contact with multimedia and performance art. After finishing his studies in 1984 he moved to Bergen,Norway where he leaves and works ever since. RA works as performer, painter and multi-media artist. He also works with photography, installations, sculpture and drawing. During his 25 years long career he has participated in ca 100 art projects, presenting his works at the places like ICA,London; Max Ernst Museum-Mucsarnok,Budapest; Nordic House,Reykjavik or The Fringe Club,Hong Kong. RA also works as a freelance curator.
