Avi Lubin

Avi Lubin is an independent curator and head of the theory studies at the Postgraduate Fine Art Program, Hamidrasha College of Art. He is the founding co-editor of Tohu, a trilingual independent online are publication (published in Hebrew, Arabic and English). He also co-founded Harbor, an online art publication by The Haifa Museum of Art, and is a member of the honor committee of Artribune Israel. Lubin is a PhD candidate at the School of Philosophy and The Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas, Tel Aviv University. His curating work includes solo and group shows, among them Dark Times at The Schreiber University Art Gallery, Tel Aviv University, The Hidden Passengers at apexart, New York, Vestige and Entropy at The Artists’ Studios, Jerusalem, Grandfather Paradox at Chelouche Gallery, Tel Aviv and ON-OFF Art Projects, Hamburg, Groundwork at Sommer Contemporary, Tel Aviv, and The End of History at Künstlerhaus Speckstraße and Kutscherhäuser, Hamburg.
